One Inner Temple Lane is a leading criminal set of chambers with a proud reputation for excellence in advocacy and legal advice across all levels.

We pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive, approachable and thoroughly professional service delivering high quality advocacy across the UK in all matters, from shoplifting to murder.

Chambers has been in existence for over thirty years and our reputation is built and earned in both criminal defence and prosecution. What started as a set providing advocacy to a small number of solicitor firms in South East London has grown into a group of legal experts offering first-rate representation and advice to a wealth of firms and individuals across the country. Our members are instructed in publicly funded, privately funded and, increasingly, public access work.

In those thirty years the geography of our work has grown as well. We work across the South East of England on a daily basis, but our instructions take us to the South West, Midlands, North West as well as Germany and Cyprus.

One Inner Temple Lane is committed to keeping itself and its colleagues abreast of all current legal developments. In this regard, Chambers presents a CPD Seminars Series open to both barristers and solicitors. Topics range from ‘hearsay’ case-law updates to the practicalities of Courts Martial.
