Complaints Procedure
It is a Bar Council requirement that Chambers make all clients they are instructed by aware of their right and ability to raise a complaint direct to Chambers regarding the handling of their case.
All lay clients should be aware that if they do have cause for complaint, they can raise it directly with the Senior Clerk, Simon Duggan in the first instance and that any complaint will be dealt with and responded to within 8 weeks or sooner if possible. Lay clients must also be aware that they have the right to complain to the Legal Ombudsman at the conclusion of the Chambers complaints process if they are unsatisfied with the outcome.
