Coroner Inquests
A Coroner’s Inquest, prompted by a particular set of circumstances, is the formal examination and determination of the cause of death.
Said determination could be, for example death by suicide, natural causes, accident or unlawful killing. Coroners are essentially doctors or lawyers and effectively hold the capacity of a judge in this field. They will declare any such finding in public after evidence has been heard at the relevant inquest hearing. At such a hearing any interested party has the right to be represented by a barrister working on their behalf.
Chambers welcome enquiry and instruction in this field to advise and / or act as advocate in this specialist, sensitive and significant area.
