The immigration team at One Inner Temple Lane offers representation and advice across the full range of immigration and asylum work that goes before the First and Upper Tier Tribunals and beyond.

Members of chambers have represented clients in a variety of complex cases dealing with, for example, asylum, applications for leave to remain, human rights claims, entry clearance, emergency High Court injunctions fighting removal, family reunions, and contesting detentions at the various detention centres.

Chambers also has particular expertise and experience in representing clients seeking to work or students seeking to study under the various tiers of the Points Based System.

In providing immigration representation and advice, a strong feature of chambers is its ability to complement this area of practice with it’s wide ranging experience of the criminal law providing clients with an extra dimension of expertise especially in cases of deportation and criminal prosecutions alleging the facilitating of others into the country in breach of United Kingdom immigration law, a development that is becoming increasingly frequent.

Ever mindful of facilitating access to justice in these difficult times, various members of chambers have strong community links wherein they often provide pro bono advice and representation to those that can least afford it.
