One ITL, the Chambers of Marion Smullen, are delighted to announce that with effect from 1st January 2017 we will be merging with the Chambers of William Mousley QC at 2 Kings Bench Walk.
As such, chambers provides representation in all matters relating to prison law for all those within Her Majesty's Prison Service.
Our practitioners have a comprehensive knowledge of the prison service orders and an in-depth and practical understanding of how to apply them in order to avoid our clients receiving extra days of imprisonment or alternative sanctions at prison adjudications.
We have a vast experience of representing individuals in front of the parole board and in getting those we represent the courses they need and in helping them to obtain transfer and release.
Further, Chambers remains ever willing to seek judicial review to pursue and protect the rights of our clients.
Underpinning all of the above is our constant commitment to the welfare of the individual prisoner, our understanding of the concerns and considerations of their family and friends and our relentless fearlessness in the protection of all their human rights as enshrined and protected by the Human Rights Act 1998.
We accept instructions from solicitors, public bodies and via public access.
