Armed Robbery, Assault and Violent Crime
Chambers has a wealth of experience in this area from “Flying Squad” robberies to street robberies and from GBH to common assault. Chambers also routinely acts in high-profile cases of public disorder.
Members of Chambers have significant experience in the complex forensic issues thrown up by the ever more sophisticated investigations into cash in transit robberies. From the now well established finger-print and DNA evidence to cell-site analysis and smart-water evidence. Members of Chambers have been instructed in numerous cases allowing them to build up a wealth of knowledge in this area.
With regards to offences of violence this is another area in which members of Chambers excel. Chambers has experience of complex issues of identification during multi-handed offences of disorder such as riot and violent disorder. In addition we have significant experience of expert evidence on issues of causation of injuries.
Chambers deals with all matters with sensitivity but particularly cases of violence. We understand that offences of violence falling even at the lower end of the spectrum can have a significant long term effect on the futures of our clients and treat all cases with the respect they deserve.
